This Privacy Policy describes how Reddy Vivaha Bandham ("RVB", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our website, mobile applications and services. It applies to all members — free, premium and elite.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

• Profile data: name, age, gender, photos, video introductions, lifestyle, family details, education, profession and preferences.
• Verification data: Aadhaar number, PAN, education certificates and employment proof (when you opt in for verification).
• Communication data: messages, calls, and shared media within the platform — encrypted end-to-end.
• Device & usage data: IP address, device model, OS, browser, in-app activity.
• Payment data: handled by our PCI-DSS compliant partners; we don't store card numbers.

We use your data to:

• Match you with compatible profiles using our AI engine.
• Run identity, education and income verification when you opt in.
• Provide customer support, fraud detection and account safety.
• Improve our products, with anonymised analytics only.
• Send transactional notifications (matches, messages, payments). Marketing emails are opt-in.

We do not sell your personal data — ever.

Your data is shared only with:

• Other members: only the parts of your profile you choose to make visible.
• Service providers: cloud hosting, payment processors, SMS gateways — under strict data agreements.
• Verification partners: UIDAI (Aadhaar), DigiLocker, employer-verification vendors — only with your explicit consent.
• Authorities: when legally required, and we will notify you unless prohibited by law.

We follow industry best practices:

• End-to-end encryption for all messages and calls.
• AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit.
• ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure.
• 24×7 security operations centre, regular third-party audits.
• All photos are watermarked on download to deter misuse.

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access and download all your data.
• Correct or update any inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and all associated data (some records may be retained for legal compliance).
• Withdraw consent for verification or marketing communications at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

We retain your profile and communication data while your account is active. On account deletion, we delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records for 7 years, fraud-prevention logs for 3 years).

We use essential cookies (login, security) and, with your consent, analytics cookies to improve the product. You can manage cookies in your browser or in our cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies.

Reddy Vivaha Bandham is for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors and will delete such data promptly if discovered.

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be notified by email and in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
